epT.I.P.S. PipetteTips – Eppendorf Totally Integrated Pipetting System – the perfect combination with Eppendorf pipettes, resulting in reduced-force tip attachment and ejection with complete sealing.
Item# 0030000730:Eppendorf Quality™, 50 – 1250 µL L, 103 mm, dark green, 1,000 tips (2 bags × 500 tips).
Only when using perfectly manufactured pipette tips can the precision of modern pipettes be fully exploited. With this generation of Eppendorf pipette tips, you can make even better use of this potential.
The epT.I.P.S. – Totally Integrated Pipetting System – have been perfectly matched to Eppendorf pipettes. This results in consistently reduced tip attachment and ejection forces, while ensuring complete sealing.
All Eppendorf pipettes in combination with Eppendorf tips satisfy the requirements of DIN 12 650-2 and of the imminent EN ISO 8655-2.

Reloads available in two purity levels: Eppendorf Quality and PCR clean
All products certified with "PCR clean" are tested free of human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. The following applies from our point of view: Where no human DNA is detected, there can also be no RNA, which is considerably more unstable.
For molecular-biological requirements Eppendorf offers a new standard for uniform purity specifications. All consumables marked with the "Certified PCR Clean” label are guaranteed free of human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors.
If the Biopur products are stored according to the information in the instruction manual they have a shelf life of 5 years. The minimum expiry date is printed on the label of the box.
Due to the modularization of purity grades, some products are labeled with more than one purity grade symbol. For example, the epDualfilter T.I.P.S. has the double seal "PCR clean "+ "Sterile" and the UVette the double seal "PCR clean" + "Protein-free" on the packing. The certification remains unaffected by the modularization.
Yes, the batch-specific purity grades can be downloaded at our certificates homepage.
Yes, if no batch attachment is required for the application, products of the old and new modular purity grades can be used, as their specifications are the same.
Contamination and cross-over can only be avoided by using single-use plastic items. In addition, there is no annoying and time-consuming cleaning of glassware.
Like all our single-use plastic items, our pipette tips are also made of polypropylene and can therefore be stored at -10°C even for many years.
Please note that you should keep the pipette tips for several minutes at room temperature before pipetting.

The tips are electrically neutral. There are no charged particles on the surface. It is therefore unlikely that charged particles like ions or ionic compounds will get caught on the walls.
The potential release of trace metal ions from the epTIPS under extreme conditions was measured by an independent and certified laboratory. The certificate is provided as a pdf on our homepage.
The epTIPS made of PP are suitable for liquids with a temperature of max. 90°C. Please take into account that the pipetting error rises due to evapouration into and warming of the air cushion.
The geometry of the epBox housing changes when the box(es) is (are) forced into the autoclave and the door of the autoclave can only be closed with force. Once the autoclave has cooled down, the deformed shape is retained. Stacking of many boxes should be avoided.
The UV stability of epTIPS boxes (made of polycarbonate) and epTIPS racks (made of polypropylene) were tested intensively during development. Boxes and racks were exposed to 254 nm UV light (1 J/cm2) for 16.7 hours. After 10 cycles (167 hours), no signs of adverse effects were detectable. Because the energy of the lamp used is considerably higher than that of a lamp used in a sterile bench, it can be assumed that both boxes can be exposed to UV radiation for at least 300 to 600 hours in a sterile bench without problems. Polypropylene used for epTIPS Racks is three times more resistant against UV radiation than polycarbonate allowing even longer exposure to UV light.
The composition of the epTIPS Biopur fulfills the requirements of the FDA regulation 21 CFR § 177,1520 "Olefin polymers". Please note: The suitability of a consumer item for the intended purpose, the influence of the filler on taste and smell, and the compliance with limitations (e.g. global migration, specific limitations and other analytical specifications) should be tested by the manufacturer or user for individual cases.
All Biopur products are manufactured fully automatically under cleanroom conditions. This eliminates contamination of the disposables through contact with people. Beta radiation is used as the sterilization method.
An independent laboratory checks that each individual batch is free of pyrogens.

The epTIPS Biopur are suitable for use in the food industry according to the Food and Consumer Goods Legislation § 5, paragraph 1 no. 1 (food and consumer goods). Yes, up to five times. Since Filtertips (which may not be autoclaved) are also packed in these racks the autoclavability is not noted in the catalogue.
